DEFED Lifesmart Smart Station (CoSS+Zigbee)

The LifeSmart Smart Station is the brains for your LifeSmart system. It connects to the Internet to allow remote access and control of your home via the free LifeSmart App. It also connects wirelessly to all your LifeSmart devices installed in your home.

This model of Smart Station supports approximately 120 sqm of coverage. Structures such as concrete wall with steel-reo will reduce this.

If you have a large home or a multi-story home, then yes you can add as many smart stations as you need to provide good wireless coverage for your LifeSmart devices. For each Smart Station you will need a CAT6 cable wired back to the homes network switch/router and a Power Socket to power your Smart Station.

It is common for homeowners to install extra smart stations in pantry top shelves or walk in robes.

A smart station can support up to 500 devices in a single home project. Note: If you have more than 1 smart station in a home setup you can still only support up to a maximum of 500 devices in total.

If the home loses Internet the home will continue to function as the smart station stores the home system information. The App however, will cease to be able to control the home as it works via the cloud. Once the Internet is restored the smart station automatically connects to the cloud and the App will start to work as normal.
