RS485 Convertor

The LifeSmart  RS485 convertor is used for 2-way interfacing between the LifeSmart gateway and compatible 3rd party RS485 devices.

It allows multiple devices to communicate with each other over the same cable. The RS-485 standard defines the electrical characteristics of the communication link, including voltage levels, signaling rates, and impedance matching. One of the major advantages of RS-485 is that it can communicate over long distances, with a communication distance of up to 300m common. The RS-485 protocol supports multiple devices per bus, with up to 32 devices supported per network.
